About Me
I am saved by grace, and love Christ with all my heart. My faith is the center stone of all my work. I have 6 wonderful children that I homeschool, and I absolutely cherish being able to stay home with them.
I am a certified labor/birth doula, and postpartum doula. I am also currently assisting and learning from a few wonderful holistic midwives in southern AZ, and now providing monitrice services.
I love helping women have the birthing experience that they desire. After having two very traumatic births, but then having an amazing birth with my last pregnancy... I am now passionate about helping other women have an amazing birth experience of their own. We are ALL capable of having a calm, and joyful birthing experience, regardless of past experiences. I would love to serve you, and help you achieve the birth that you desire!
For over 11 years we were foster parents to over 20 babies and toddlers, and have been blessed with being able to adopt 3 of our children through foster care. I have a federal clearance card, and plenty of experience caring for little ones. I re-certify every 2 years in infant/child/adult CPR and First Aid, as well as Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP). If you need a postpartum doula, you can count on me to be safe and caring towards your little one!
I am very natural minded in my personal life, and through my work. I love attending home births, and am one of only a few doulas in the Tucson area that will attend unassisted home births as a doula and/or monitrice. I, myself, had an unassisted birth, and it was one of the most incredible experiences of my life!
I attend all types of births: Hospital, Birth Center, Home birth assisted/unassisted. I will help advocate for you, regardless of where you choose to give birth!

Ashley was my biggest cheer-leader, my advocate, and friend, and if I could do it all over again I would hire her in a heartbeat!

"Ashley was so great and understanding of what I wanted. She has a sweet and calming presence and I really appreciated that. My birth was amazing, and I know it was because she helped me stay focused. And a few times I felt uncomfortable with medical staff pressuring me, but Ashley was amazing and helped me to choose what I thought was best. Right at the beginning they wanted to give me pitocin to speed things up, and I would have caved even though that’s not what I wanted. But she reminded me it was my choice, and I had the right to say no if I wanted to. I really felt like she was on my side, and it gave me confidence to stick up for myself. I will definitely hire her again if I have another baby. Having a doula was way better than my first birth without one."
